Do you have any lesson plans or ideas for teaching about Native Americans?

I teach a second grade special ed class (mild learning disabilities). I want to teach them about Native Americans. I want them to come away with a broad understanding as they don’t really have too much social studies content knowledge. Do you have any good ideas or know of any good resources? More specifically, we are in New York and I wouldn’t mind teaching them about the Iroquois and Algonquians but I don’t want to be limited to these Native American groups. Anyway, what’s the best way to teach this to young students (ages 7-8)? Thanks.
