How formal should a graduation dress be?
hi well im jsut wondering how formal my graduation dress should be…it just has to b a dark color and cant show through my graduation gown…
just post pics please so i know what to look for
if your school is the kind of school that uses the cap and gown, it really doesn’t matter, just make sure its not something that looks bad with the color/material of your gown. go for something knee length. i wore a pencil skirt and a dressy blouse to mine last june.
if your school doesn’t use the cap and gown, a knee length or longer dress is fine. just look for something modest but not too nun-like. you just don’t want to look like a stripper at such a formal event.
