Lesson plan for 3rd grade Students with Mental Retardation?

Something that is very interactive (not nessesarily a game, but something they can learn from for instance, social or cognitive skills. For example using a real flower to identify parts of the flower.
My students are mid functioning students who have mental retardation. All help is VERY apprecaited!!!!!!

As far as social skills go, saying Please and Thank you, using the right tone of voice to reflect the correct emotion, ordering a drink at a fast food style restaurant are all important, simple things to do. All extremely realistic to what they should be able to work on by this age.
