Teach Reading
When teaching children to read I would stick to the basics and not try that new ideas for teaching reading. The proven and reliable methods of teaching reading have already taught many, many children why experiment with new ideas.
The number one idea you should be using is reading in bed as often as possible. Thus their children to acquire the habit of reading and I hope you end up with a love of reading. So competition for free time your child needs the love of reading to keep reading.
Another good idea is to teach reading phonics. Phonics has been teaching children to read for over a century and is very effective. Phonics are a guide to reading, which is the code to decipher the written word and a Once your children know that phonics should be able to read anything. I like the Montessori method of phonetics, but not many good phonics programs online and out.
After their children have mastered phonics can read almost anything, but do not always understand what they are reading. There is where you go or a good dictionary s To save your sanity is a good idea to teach your child how to use a dictionary. Thus one wonders what it means this word all the time.
Another good idea to teach reading is to ask your children to tell of the story they just read. In this way you will know reading comprehension if your child is progressing correctly. So good ideas for teaching reading is reading in bed as often as possible, phonics and reading comprehension.
